One of Beijing's major food events this June is taking place at the Beijing Exhibition Center in Xicheng District. Running from June 13 to 14, with daily opening hours from 11:00 to 22:00, the festival is open to the public with free admission.
The event features over 160 culinary stalls, bringing together nearly 200 catering enterprises alongside 19 of Beijing's time-honored brands to showcase authentic flavors from more than 30 provinces and cities across China. Popular social media favorites and sought-after local specialties will also be on offer, making it a one-stop destination for exploring flavors from across the country.
The 2026 Thailand Durian Carnival and Gourmet Festival

Calling all durian lovers! Hosted by the Royal Thai Embassy in Beijing, the celebration takes place at Poly Plaza in Chaoyang District. Open from June 12 to 14, it welcomes visitors daily from 11:00 to 20:30, with free admission for all.
The carnival hosts over 50 specialty booths, focusing on a variety of durian desserts and baked goods. Visitors can enjoy crowd favorites such as durian mille crepes, durian cakes and durian ice cream, alongside a large durian buffet area. Beyond the durian-themed treats, authentic Thai street snacks and Southeast Asian beverages are also available.
Peiping Machine Friendship Craft Beer Festival

Peiping Machine, a renowned craft beer brand, is celebrating its 10th summer with a craft beer festival at Friendship Garden, located behind the Beijing Friendship Store. Visitors can enjoy craft beer, delicious food and a variety of interactive games in a lively summer atmosphere. The festival runs from June 12 to 14, with daily hours from 15:00 to 23:00 and free admission.
