At around 2 kilometers long, this route blends culture, history, and greenery. Along the way, visitors will discover creative art spaces, historic architecture, scenic terraces, and great places to eat. This route offers a perfect mix of Dongcheng's heritage, creativity, and relaxed city vibe.
Xicheng District: Strolling in Beijing – Trendy Charm of Xisi
Route: Fuchengmen—White Dagoba Temple—Xisi—Zhengyang Bookstore
This 1.7-kilometer route is filled with the fragrance of lilac and crabapple blossoms. It passes a range of cultural landmarks, including the Beijing Lu Xun Museum, the renovated Dongxicha Hutongs near White Dagoba Temple, the Temple of Emperors of Past Dynasties, the Geological Museum of China, Honglou Public Library, Zhengyang Bookstore, and Zhanta Hutong. This 3.5-kilometer route unfolds across "four worlds"—bamboo, art, books and urban life.
