Recently opened at the Prince Kung's Mansion Museum, The "Enduring Legacy of Harmony and Beauty: Exhibition on the History and Culture of the Mufu Mansion in Lijiang" is the first exhibition in China dedicated to the historical value and cultural significance of Lijiang Mufu. The exhibition brings together more than 70 cultural relics and documents from the collections of 10 museums and libraries in Beijing and Yunnan, marking the first large-scale and systematic display of artifacts and historical materials related to the Mu hereditary chieftains and Mufu Mansion. Through these exhibits, it presents the role of the Mu chieftains of Lijiang in safeguarding national unity and promoting ethnic integration.

Mufu, whose full name is the Administrative Office of the Mu Hereditary Chieftains of Lijiang, is the core architectural complex of the Old Town of Lijiang, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is also an important symbol of the history and spirit of the Naxi people.
