Rain to Hit Beijing Before Qingming Festival, Followed by This Year's First Blowing Sand

According to the Beijing Meteorological Service, daytime temperatures rise slightly today (April 2), making it suitable for outdoor activities. Clouds will gradually increase at night, with scattered showers from tonight through tomorrow morning. Residents are advised to carry rain gear when heading out.

Under the influence of cold air, Beijing will turn sunny tomorrow. However, northerly winds will intensify during the day, with gusts to reach force 7 or higher, accompanied by blowing sand. This will be Beijing's first sand and dust event this spring.

During the upcoming Qingming Festival holiday (April 4 to 6), winds are expected to remain relatively strong, with a slight drop in temperatures. The public is advised to stay updated on the latest forecasts and warnings, plan trips accordingly, and take necessary precautions.
