February 4 marks "Lichun", the Beginning of Spring, the first of the 24 solar terms in the traditional Chinese calendar. Forecasts show that the daytime high on that day is expected to climb to above 10°C.

However, a new cold front will arrive on Thursday (February 5), bringing falling temperatures. The daytime high is expected to fall from around 11°C on Wednesday (February 4) to about 4°C. On Friday (February 6), stronger northerly winds will add a chill, with daytime highs dropping further to around 1°C. Over the weekend, there may be light snow again.

With frequent cold air activities and noticeable temperature fluctuations, residents are advised to check the upcoming forecasts and take appropriate precautions.
