As warmer weather sets in, the ski season in Beijing is drawing to a close, with multiple ski resorts recently closing their slopes.
The Badaling Ski Resort closed on February 28, and the Jundushan Ski Resort ended operations at 22:00 on March 1 (Sunday). Skiers holding valid season passes or tickets were reminded to use them before operations ceased. On the same day, March 1, both the Star Mountain Ski Resort and Yuyang International Ski Resort also closed.
Nanshan Ski Resort will end its season at 22:00 on March 8. In celebration of International Women's Day, the resort will offer free skiing for women all day on March 8.
Shijinglong Ski Resort will also conclude its season on March 8. Currently, its slopes 3, 4, and 5 (Terrain Park and Advanced Slopes) have been closed since February 24.
