Between February 15 and 23, Beijing's ports handled a total of 566,000 inbound and outbound passenger trips, representing an 11 percent year-on-year increase compared with the same period during last year's Spring Festival holiday. On February 22, daily passenger traffic exceeded 73,000 trips, marking the highest single-day volume recorded at Beijing ports during the holiday period.

As a series of policies facilitating foreign nationals traveling to China continue to take effect, experiencing the Spring Festival in China has become increasingly popular among foreign visitors. During this year's Spring Festival holiday, China implemented visa-free policies for ordinary passport holders from Canada and the United Kingdom, further enhancing convenience for foreign tourists and business travelers entering the country. During the holiday period, Beijing's ports recorded 101,000 foreign entries and exits, a year-on-year increase of 42.3 percent. Of these, over 30,000 foreign nationals entered China under the visa-free and temporary entry permit policies — double the figure recorded during the same period last year. Meanwhile, Beijing Daxing International Airport handled over 15,000 inbound foreign travelers, marking a year-on-year increase of more than 140 percent. Travelers entering under visa-free and temporary entry permit policies accounted for approximately 70 percent of total inbound foreign arrivals at the airport.
