The bilingual Chinese-English brochure Visit Beijing Xicheng has recently been officially released. Copies have been distributed to hotels including the JW Marriott Hotel Beijing Central and The Ritz-Carlton Beijing (Financial Street), and will soon be available at Terminal 3 of Beijing Capital International Airport, providing practical travel guidance for international visitors to Beijing.
The brochure features approximately 50 selected cultural and tourism highlights across the district, including famous scenic attractions, historic and cultural blocks, performance venues, museums, and time-honored brands representing intangible cultural heritage (ICH). It guides international visitors to explore Xicheng from multiple perspectives through six themed sections: "Attractions", "Citywalk", "Culture", "Cuisine", "Hotels", and "Travel Tips". Together, these sections cater to visitors' diverse needs in sightseeing, transportation, entertainment, accommodation, dining, and shopping, offering a comprehensive experience of the district's charm and vitality.
Despite its compact size, the brochure is rich in practical details. The specially designed "Travel Tips" section clearly marks the addresses of renowned time-honored restaurants, tax-refund shopping malls, and ICH gift stores, helping visitors navigate transportation, shopping, and souvenir selection with ease. A hand-drawn map of Xicheng and a Beijing subway map at the end enable visitors to easily locate attractions and nearby facilities, ensuring a seamless journey throughout the district.
