This winter, the Beijing Shi Yuan International Tourism Resort invites you to a spectacular visual feast—the 2026 Yanqing Dual Lantern Festival. Featuring intangible cultural heritage lanterns and Longqing Gorge's ice lanterns, this event presents a premier winter travel experience like no other.

The event integrates modern technological means such as drone performances, MR (mixed reality) interactive experiences, and aerospace exhibitions, alongside traditional Chinese performances and activities like an intangible cultural heritage market and float parades. One-Day Highlight Tour:

In the morning, head to Longqing Gorge Scenic Area to admire the natural ice waterfalls and ice canyon. Longqing Gorge Ice Lantern Festival is open to visitors from 10:00 to 22:00 (last entry at 21:30), while the ice canyon area is open until 16:00.

Around 16:00, you can proceed to the Beijing Shi Yuan International Tourism Resort to appreciate the daytime natural scenery. As dusk falls, you can then experience the stunning effect of the lanterns. Nighttime ticketing and entry to the lantern festival are available from 16:00 to 21:00, with the scenic area closing at 21:30.

Two-Day In-Depth Tour:

Day 1: Spend the full day exploring Longqing Gorge. During the day, you can watch immersive theatrical performances, try ice entertainment activities, or stroll through the shopping street. As night falls, admire the ice lanterns. Later, check in and stay overnight at a hotel within the Beijing Shi Yuan International Tourism Resort.

Day 2: Explore the daytime scenery of the Beijing Shi Yuan International Tourism Resort in the morning, visiting the China Pavilion and browsing the Heavenly Palace Fair (天宫市集).
