"Blessings Come with Spring"

The "2025 Jingcai New Year Lantern Carnival" (2025年京彩新春彩灯嘉年华), the city's most intriguing lantern carnival, will kick off on January 22, 2025. Over 100,000 bright lantern pendants, 1,000 unique gastronomical offers, 1,000 New Year's items, and 500 sessions of different performances and parades will provide visitors with a more diverse travel experience.

It is reported that the carnival will continue to be held at Beijing Garden Expo Park. Covering an area of more than 850 mu (about 0.57 square kilometers), it will once again set a new record for the largest venue in the history of Beijing’s lantern festivals. The period of this carnival will span across multiple traditional Chinese festivals, such as the Kitchen God Festival (January 22, 2025), the Spring Festival (January 29, 2025), and the Lantern Festival (February 12, 2025). Daily operating hours will be 10:00 to 21:00.

The carnival will have seven themed areas, featuring over 150 brand shops of food, intangible cultural heritage, cultural products, and entertainment to meet the diverse needs of the public during the Spring Festival.

The early-bird tickets have been on sale since December 28. Visitors can get ticketing information through the official WeChat account of "Jingcai Lantern Show" (京彩灯会).
