On December 13, the DEAR-5 · B300-L02 space test vehicle, independently developed by AZSPACE, a Beijing-based private enterprise, was successfully launched aboard a KZ-11 carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The vehicle entered its predetermined orbit as planned, marking a complete success for the mission. This mission signifies the start of a new phase in the development of China's privately operated commercial spacecraft, and lays the foundation for broader space science research, space technology verification, application development, and cargo transportation in the future.

The "DEAR-5 · B300-L02" was launched to an altitude of 530 kilometers, with its long-term operational altitude at 343 kilometers and an orbit inclination of 41.5 degrees. The mission carries 34 experimental payloads from clients including research institutes, universities, and enterprises. Over the course of a year, it will conduct scientific research and technology verification in multiple cutting-edge fields, including microgravity science, space life science, space materials science, aerospace medicine, and new space technologies.
