Has the recent hit release of Zootopia 2 rekindled your interest in the real animal world? Beijing is home to several real-life "Zootopia" locations. Come along and discover them!

Beijing Wildlife Park

Spanning thousands of acres of green space, Beijing Wildlife Park offers three signature experiences: self-drive safaris, big-game viewing, and up-close encounters with adorable animals. In the north and south walking routes, visitors may come across characters such as Judy Hopps, capybaras, red pandas, and more. You can also ride a vehicle through the Predator Experience Zone to observe real-life counterparts of "Officer Clawhauser" up close.

Beijing Zoo

Located on Xizhimenwai Street in Xicheng District, Beijing Zoo is home to a diverse array of rare animals from around the world. Here, you can meet the red fox, the real-life inspiration for Nick Wilde, as well as adorable giant pandas, making it an ideal destination for families with children.

Badaling Wildlife World

Covering nearly 6,000 acres, Beijing Badaling Wildlife World features five functional zones: Wildlife Touring, Mountain Sightseeing, Ecological Conservation, Ancient Culture Sites, and Leisure Recreation. The park is home to nearly 10,000 animals from more than 100 species, and you may even spot polar bear ''bodyguards'' reminiscent of Mr. Big's entourage in Zootopia! In the park's interactive experience area, visitors can also prepare meals for the animals.

Nanhaizi Park

The "Marsh Market" that Judy and Nick stumbled into during their escape in Zootopia 2 has a real-world counterpart in Beijing's Nanhaizi Park. A vital wetland ecosystem and an important stopover for migratory birds, the park brings the movie scene to life. At the park's Nanhaizi Milu Deer Garden, visitors can see more than 100 species, including milu deer, peacocks, swans, black swans, and other rare birds, set amid scenic surroundings.

Beijing Aquarium

Beijing Aquarium features seven themed exhibition zones: Rainforest Wonders, Shark Town, Bering Strait, Seafloor Tour, National Treasure Chinese Sturgeon Hall, Dolphin Bay, and Ocean Theater. Here, you can marvel at glowing jellyfish, cruising sharks, and charming sea lions performing acrobatics.

All these animals are far more vivid than their on-screen counterparts! Step away from the cinema and come meet these adorable creatures in person!
