The snowmaking phase currently focuses on several key areas, including sections of the Haituo Traverse (海陀穿越) racecourse, ski trails such as the Cloud Ski Trail (云端雪道) and the Forest Ski Trail (森林雪道), and a number of linking trails. The popular Rainbow Ski Trail (彩虹雪道) — a favorite among advanced skiers — will be among the first to open.
This season, the Yanqing Olympic Zone will continue to open at 8:00 and lengthen its beginner slopes. A total of 13 professional trails — including the Haituo Traverse (海陀穿越), the Caixia Ski Trail (彩霞雪道), and the Rock Snow Trail (岩石雪道) — will open in phases, offering visitors a distinct Winter Olympic-level skiing experience.

The public ski area will also be expanded to welcome more beginners. The smart locker system and the self-service ticketing platform will be upgraded to make everyone's trip easier and more efficient.
The zone is also enhancing its commercial offerings through partnerships with leading sports and dining brands, creating an integrated service system for retail, restaurants, and equipment rental. In addition, a range of time-limited holiday deals and stay-and-ski bundles will be introduced throughout the season.
