China's largest humanoid robot training center recently opened in Shijingshan District, Beijing.

The Humanoid Robot Data Training Center

The training center covers 16 scenarios under four major categories, namely industrial intelligent manufacturing, smart home, elderly care services, and 5G integration. All the scenarios are replicated at full 1:1 scale, with every detail faithfully recreating real working conditions. This is also one of the most comprehensive and realistic training centers in China, covering 10,000 square meters.

Garbage sorting and recycling

In the training center, the 1.66-meter-tall "Kuavo" humanoid robots have been practicing in various scenarios. Using advanced equipment such as VR equipment and motion capture equipment, these robots have been learning how to return empty boxes to storage, material sorting, weighing and packaging, and packaging products, with a success rate of over 95 percent. Currently, they have mastered more than 20 atomic skills and are capable of undertaking various tasks such as carrying, inspection, guidance, and delivery.

Packaging of FMCGs (fast-moving consumer goods)

The training center generates over 6 million high-quality data points each year, making it a leading one of its kind in China. It has built a standardized, full-process data system and has been actively advancing heterogeneous data integration and open collaboration. The datasets provided by it can be directly applied to training general-purpose robot base models, creating a cross-ontology, cross-task public data foundation for different industries and supporting the standardized, large-scale development of China's humanoid robot sector.
