On August 14, the "2025 World Humanoid Robot Games," the world's first comprehensive sports event featuring humanoid robots as competitors, officially kicked off at the National Speed Skating Oval, also known as the "Ice Ribbon." The opening ceremony, themed "Racing Towards a Shared Intelligent Future," vividly showcased the contrast and integration of technology and human civilization. From August 15 to 17, 280 teams from 16 countries will compete in 487 matches across 26 events, including competitive races, exhibition matches, scenario-based contests, and peripheral competitions, all of which demonstrate the cutting-edge achievements of humanoid robots in areas such as intelligent decision-making and motion coordination.
