Before this, the Administration of Tian'anmen Area issued a notice on August 24, announcing that Tian'anmen Square will be temporarily closed from September 1 to 3 and will reopen on September 4, depending on actual situations.

The official website of the Palace Museum issued an announcement on August 24, indicating that the museum will be temporarily closed from August 31 to September 4, as part of the arrangements for an event in the Tian'anmen area. It will reopen on September 5. Please plan your trip accordingly. The museum apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. Beijing Working People's Cultural Palace issued a temporary closure notice on August 25.
