The Administration of Tian'anmen Area issued a notice on August 13, 2025, indicating that Tian'anmen Square will be temporarily closed from August 20 to 23 to ensure the safety of visitors and its construction operations according to the construction arrangements for Tian'anmen Square and its surrounding areas. Part of the aforementioned areas may be reopened on August 24, depending on actual conditions. Visitors are advised to adjust their travel plans in advance.
