The General Office of the State Council announced that the upcoming holidays, namely the National Day holiday and the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, will be combined into an eight-day-long break.

The holidays will last for eight consecutive days from October 1 (Wednesday) to October 8 (Wednesday). September 28 (Sunday) and October 11 (Saturday) are designated as working days.

In addition, all expressways will be toll-free during the 8-day holiday this year. From 0:00 on October 1 to 24:00 on October 8, all toll roads (including airport expressways, toll bridges, and tunnels) will be free of tolls for small passenger vehicles. The toll collection will resume at 0:00 on October 9.
