Multiple Parks and Scenic Areas Announce Temporary Closures

Affected by heavy rainfall and geological disaster risks, several parks and scenic areas in Beijing have issued notices today to announce temporary closures. These include: The Temple of Heaven Park, Fragrant Hills Park, Beihai Park, Jingshan Park, Taoranting Park, Beijing Zoo, Baiwang Mountain Forest Park, Yuyuantan Park, and Zizhuyuan Park.

The following parks and scenic areas have announced temporary closures effective on July 27:

Badachu Park, major parks and the Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Scenic Area in Tongzhou District, the Juyongguan Great Wall Scenic Area, the Ming Tombs Scenic Area (including "Changling", "Dingling", "Zhaoling", and "Shenlu"), the Grand Canal Source Heritage Park, the Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area (including cable car services and night tours), the Shuiguan Great Wall Scenic Area, the Ancient Great Wall Scenic Area, Yeya Lake National Wetland Park, Baili Landscape Gallery, and the International Grape Exhibition Park.

The reopening dates of the aforementioned parks and scenic areas will depend on rainfall conditions. Visitors who have purchased tickets but not yet entered can claim refunds through the purchase channels they previously used.
