In midsummer, vast fields of sunflowers in Beijing burst into dazzling bloom, transforming into a golden ocean, inviting you to encounter a fairy-tale-like romantic scene!
Olympic Forest Park

The 14th Olympic Forest Park Flower Viewing Season - Sunflower Exhibition is open for free from July 1 to 27 at "Rustic Charm in the Flower Field" (花田野趣) scenic area in the North Park. For this year's sunflower exhibition, the park has cultivated over 20 varieties of ornamental sunflowers, making it the largest-scale and most comprehensive sunflower viewing area in Beijing's urban districts.
Photo-spot recommendations: Stroll along the wooden walkway surrounded by various sunflower varieties on both sides and use the staggered perspective of the boardwalk for creative photos to effortlessly create that "immersed in flowers" atmosphere.
Photography tips: During the soft morning or evening light, look for areas at the edge of the flower field where tree shadows and light intersect – shooting sunflowers against the light will make their petals appear translucent, naturally creating a dreamy filter effect.
Koutou Village, Qinglonghu Town, Fangshan District

Recently, in Koutou Village of Qinglonghu Town, Fangshan District, 40 mu (approximately 16.2 hectares) of sunflowers have quietly bloomed, with a golden flower sea stretching to the horizon. Stepping into this golden ocean, every casual snapshot captures fresh and healing cinematic shots.
This year, the sunflower fields here bloom in two seasons:
Season I: Currently in full bloom, now entering the optimal viewing period.
Season II: Expected to take over in October this year, with an autumn fairytale waiting for you to continue.
Beijing World Park

Recently, the hundred-mu sunflower fields in the Americas section of Beijing World Park are at their peak viewing period, with golden yellow waves of flowers framed alongside miniature American landmarks, creating a scene as beautiful as an oil painting.
Photography tips: Wear a light-colored long dress paired with a straw hat/woven bag and capture your healing smile amidst the sea of flowers. The softest light comes at dawn or dusk, making every casual snapshot radiate the same romantic summer vibe as a Hayao Miyazaki film.
With summer vacation approaching, Beijing World Park has specially launched the "Flowing Lights and Colorful Flames on Midsummer Nights"(流光彩焰 仲夏之夜) event. From now until August 31, every Tuesday through Sunday, the Octonauts will lead you in a refreshing battle amidst splashes and bubbles, and as night falls, you can sing and dance passionately around the bonfire.
