The notice emphasizes that airports must reasonably establish designated areas for passengers to voluntarily dispose of or temporarily store power banks, clearly define temporary storage procedures and processes to facilitate passenger disposal or storage. Additionally, airports must expedite the installation and maintenance of charging facilities within terminals, enhance the availability and accessibility of charging equipment, and better meet the charging needs of departing and arriving passengers.
Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport in advance according to their itinerary to ensure smooth check-in and security screening, as inspections may be required to verify the compliance of carried power banks.
