The annual China Development Forum took place from March 23 to 24 at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing, bringing together over 80 representatives from multinational corporations to discuss around the theme of "Unleashing Development Momentum for Stable Growth of Global Economy".

This year's forum featured 12 thematic symposiums and several closed-door sessions, along with activities including "Greetings from Beijing" and "Shanghai Networking Luncheon". Symposium topics included "Macro Policies and Economic Growth", "Igniting Growth Momentum through Reform", "Boosting Consumption and Lifting Domestic Demand", "Development of New Quality Productive Forces through Scientific and Technological Innovation", "Green Development, Low Carbon Development and Climate Change", "New Trends in Economic Globalisation and Expanding Institutional Opening-up" and "Cooperation in the Development of Global Industrial and Supply Chains".

This year, the number of multinational enterprises attending the forum for the first time hit a record high, accounting for 20% of the total participants. Among them were major global names such as Apple, Pfizer, FedEx, Siemens, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz, with nearly 30 companies from the United States attending, more than any other country. Leaders from around 20 Chinese ministries and commissions and central state-owned enterprises also took part, alongside executives from about 30 well-known Chinese companies such as TCL, Xiaohongshu (RedNote), Envision Group, and XPENG.

The China Development Forum is hosted by the Development Research Centre of the State Council and organized by the China Development Research Foundation. This year, the forum celebrated its 25th anniversary.
