The 2025 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference will be held from March 27 to 31, featuring the annual theme of "New Quality Productive Forces and Global Science and Technology Cooperation". The event is structured into five major segments and 128 activities, involving over 100 countries and regions. It will gather over 1,000 speakers to discuss the cultivation of new productive forces through technological innovation, offering fresh ideas and inspiration for global innovative development.

This year's annual conference will highlight four key features:

First, focus on cutting-edge technology. Centered on advanced fields such as AI large models, embodied intelligence, quantum technology, biomedicine, 6G and brain-computer interfaces, the forum will host multiple professional sessions and major achievement releases to delve into trends in frontier technologies and industrial development.

Second, emphasize shared outcomes. Through activities such as the technology transaction conference, frontier sci-tech competitions and major sci-tech achievement releases, the forum will establish a collaborative platform integrating government, industry, academia, research, application and financial sectors. This initiative aims to facilitate the alignment and industrialization of groundbreaking scientific and technological achievements, accelerating the cultivation of new quality productive forces.

Third, focus on talent exchange. The forum will establish specialized platforms such as the Outstanding Young Sci-Tech Talents Development Forum, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum for Overseas Returnees, and the Women in Science and Technology Innovation Forum. These events are designed to create collaboration opportunities for targeted scientific communities, fostering innovation and igniting the creative potential of professionals.

Fourth, underline open cooperation. The forum will prioritize fostering global partnership by hosting intergovernmental dialogues on sci-tech cooperation and inviting extensive participation from international sci-tech organizations, global scientists, entrepreneurs and investors. These efforts aim to harness global innovative expertise and build platforms for cross-border exchange and collaboration.

This year's forum will host over 20 parallel sessions. Additionally, two major release events are scheduled: the Chinese Academy of Science and Technology for Development will unveil the National Innovation Index Report, and the National Natural Science Foundation will announce the Top 10 Scientific Advances in China for 2024.

The Zhongguancun International Advanced Technology Innovation Competition Finals, to be held during this year's forum, have attracted over 3,200 projects from 75 countries and regions globally, with overseas submissions accounting for 40% of the total entries.

Notably, nearly 100 robots will serve as smart assistants for attendees at this year's forum, delivering a novel conference experience.
