The construction of the Creative Building, which is situated in the core area of Beijing CBD, began in early 2025. With a total investment of roughly CNY 6.6 billion, this building has a floor area of about 170,000 square meters. The Creative Building, projected to become a next-generation urban benchmark with forward-thinking, innovative, international, and modern styles, will be finished with first-rate office spaces, full industrial supporting facilities, and communication spaces.

In February, the Agricultural Zhongguancun Comprehensive Research Center commenced construction in Pinggu District. Spanning an area of over 100,000 square meters, it integrates industrial spaces for industrial experiments, technological development, pilot-scale production, and industrial incubation, with a focus on the fields of biological breeding and incubation to serve enterprises, scientific research institutions, and university research stations.
Milestone progress has been achieved in the expansion and upgrade of Subway Line 13, the largest subway renovation project in China. Along the Houchangcun–Tiantongyuandong section, which is anticipated to fulfill initial operating requirements this year, nine additional stations are under construction, with eight of them already roofed and main structures expected to be 98-percent finished within 2025. For the same section, efforts will be made to construct 11 additional segments, with six of them to be joined within this year, and 93-percent of the segments' primary construction has been finished.
The highly anticipated commercial and entertainment complex named Wanli includes three major sections: Wangfujing Outlets, Tingyun Town, and Nous Land Hotel. Now that the main structure has been finished, it will be open to the public in the second half of 2025 upon the completion of electromechanical installation and interior and exterior beautification. The Wanli project is situated at the intersection of three rails, just 35 kilometers from Langfang's downtown area in Hebei Province and roughly 110 kilometers from Tianjin. It is expected to become a micro-resort town ideal for dining, lodging, traveling, shopping, and entertainment in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
In addition, Zhongguancun Science City International Bio Valley, Yizhuang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and other projects also kicked off construction. Zhongguancun Tencent Xuezhi Park, the second phase of Xiaomi Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Base, and Beijing Times Battery Base are going full speed ahead. The construction of the plant for the production lines of BOE Gen 6 AMOLED has been completed. Concurrently, the relocation and building of the second phase of the National Institutes for Food and Drug Control, Ande Beauty and Healthcare Industrial Park, and the distributed photovoltaic project of the Yangzhen plant of Hyundai's Beijing branch began earlier than expected.
