Z8 Plot, Beijing CBD Core Zone (Creative Building) started construction; Beijing Subway Line 13 renovation made significant progress; and Micro-Resort town will open in the second half of the year... 31 of the 38 major projects in Beijing that were supposed to begin construction in the first quarter of 2025—82% of the total—started construction, setting a new record. Construction on the Creative Building, which is situated in the central business district of Beijing, began in early 2025. It was invested roughly CNY 6.6 billion and has an area of over 170,000 square meters. The Creative Building, one of the next generation of urban benchmarks with forward-thinking, innovative, international, and modern styles, will be finished with first-rate office space, full industrial supporting facilities, and communication space.

In Pinggu, work on the Agricultural Zhongguancun Comprehensive Research Center began in February. With an area of over 100,000 square meters, it integrates industrial spaces for industrial experiments, technological development, pilot-scale production, and industrial incubation with a focus on the field of biological breeding and incubation to serve enterprises, scientific research institutions, and university research stations.

Significant progress has been made in the expansion and modernization of Beijing Subway Line 13, the largest subway upgrade project in China. Nine additional stations have been added, eight stations have been topped off, and the main structure is 98% finished in 2025 for the Houchangcun to Tiantongyuandong section, which is anticipated to fulfill initial operating requirements. 11 additional sections were constructed, six of which were joined, and the sections' primary construction was 93% finished.

The highly anticipated commercial and entertainment complex named "Wanli" includes three major sections: Wangfujing WellTown, Tingyun Micro-Resort Town, and Nolan Hotel. Now that the main construction is finished, it will be open to the public in the second half of 2025 after undergoing electromechanical installation and interior and external beautification. Wanli is situated at the intersection of three rails, just 35 kilometers from Langfang's downtown area in Hebei Province and roughly 110 kilometers from Tianjin. It will develop into a micro-resort town combining dining, lodging, travel, shopping, and entertainment in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

In addition, the Zhongguancun Science City International Medical Valley, Yizhuang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and other projects kicked off construction; Zhongguancun Tencent Xuezhi Park, the second phase of the Xiaomi Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Base, and Beijing Times Battery Base are going full speed ahead; and the plant construction for BOE Gen 6 AMOLED production line has been completed. Concurrently, work on the relocation and building of the second phase of the National Institutes for Food and Drug Control, Ande Beauty and Healthcare Industrial Park, and the distributed photovoltaic project of Beijing Hyundai Yangzhen Plant began earlier than expected.
