On February 18, the "Dual Olympic City - A Vibrant Beijing" Calendar of Sports Events in Beijing was officially released. In 2025, Beijing will host more than 1,280 various types of events including 198 high-level and highly-influential "Dual Olympic 100" premium events.
The calendar is based on the "Dual Olympic 100" sports event system, categorizing the events by month. It determines the four quarterly themes, namely "New-Year Season", "Vibrant Season", "Passionate Season", and "Freezing Season", along with 12 monthly themes based on the characteristics of the events.
The "Travel with the Events" tourism route has also been introduced at the release event of the calendar. The five themed tour routes, each with its own characteristics, are based on the corresponding popular events, such as the International Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament for the World University Games, WTT China Smash 2025, and China Open, covering different seasons and different regions.
