The inaugural ceremony of the Beijing Museum Pass for 2025 was held on November 14. It is reported that the pass provides access to 136 museums, science outreach bases, and cultural attractions in Beijing. Most venues included in the pass offer free or discounted admission for up to two visits.

As of November 14, citizens can purchase the pass on the official website and WeChat account of the Beijing Museum Pass or at major Xinhua Bookstore outlets.

The pass continues to take the form of a pocket book, without the need to paste a photo, and can be used by the whole family. The pass includes essential information such as locations, phone numbers, opening hours, ticket prices, and venue descriptions. The retail price of the pass is CNY 120, while the total value of ticket reductions offered by fee-paying museums alone is more than CNY 3,200. The Beijing Museum Pass for 2025 also features a gift box hardcover version, which contains one pass and two coins with auspicious meanings.
