According to the Measures on Having a Holiday for National Annual Leaves and Memorial Days revised in November 2024, starting from January 1, 2025, all citizens will enjoy an additional two days of holidays, with Spring Festival and Labor Day each being extended by one day. Based on this, the principles for making up lost time for holidays have been further optimized. Except for a few special cases, the Spring Festival will have an eight-day holiday starting from Chinese New Year's Eve, National Day will have a seven-day holiday starting from October 1, Labor Day will have a five-day holiday, and New Year's Day, Qingming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival will each have a three-day holiday or three consecutive holidays (if it falls on a Wednesday, only that day will be a holiday). If National Day coincides with Mid-Autumn Festival, the holiday will be combined for eight days.

The specific arrangements are as follows:

I. New Year's Day: The holiday will have one day off on January 1 (Wednesday).

II. Spring Festival: The holiday will have eight days off from January 28  (Tuesday, when the Chinese New Year's Eve is to be observed) to February 4 (Tuesday, which is also the 7th day of the first month of the traditional Chinese calendar). January 26 (Sunday) and February 8 (Saturday) are designated as working days.

III. Qingming Festival: The holiday will have three days off from April 4 (Friday) to 6 (Sunday).

IV. Labor Day: The holiday will have five days off from May 1 (Thursday) to 5 (Monday). April 27 (Sunday) is designated as a working day.

V. Dragon Boat Festival: The holiday will have three days off from May 31 (Saturday) to June 2 (Monday).

VI. National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival: The combined holiday will have eight days off from October 1 (Wednesday) to 8 (Wednesday). September 28 (Sunday) and October 11 (Saturday) are designated as working days.
