Saudi Arabia Tourism Festival Launched, Showcasing Diverse Cultural Charm

The Saudi Arabia Tourism Festival was launched at Tiantan (Temple of Heaven) Park in Beijing on October 18 and will run until October 26, where visitors can feel the legendary charm of Saudi Arabia through interactive stands for cultural displays, live performances, exclusive travel discounts on winter holiday products, and more.

The festival showcases various tourist destinations and attractions in Saudi Arabia to Chinese tourists, allowing them to learn about unique attractions and various events there.

China has become one of the major source countries for tourists to Saudi Arabia, with the total number of Chinese tourists traveling to Saudi Arabia increasing by over 40 percent from 2023 to 2024. Saudia (Saudi Arabian Airlines), Air China, China Eastern Airlines, and China Southern Airlines now offer direct flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen to Jeddah or Riyadh. Starting on October 28, Cathay Pacific will also launch a new direct flight from Hong Kong to Riyadh.
