The IASP World Conference is known as the "Olympics" of the global science and technology parks. Zhongguancun Science Park, a member of IASP since 1995, has successfully hosted the IASP World Conferences three times in 1995, 2005 and 2015. A decade after its last run, Beijing, the First City to Host Both Summer and Winter Olympic Games is gearing up to welcome the "Olympics" of global science and technology parks once again.

The IASP 2025 World Conference, hosted by the Beijing Municipal Government, is scheduled to take place from 16 to 19 September 2025 at the China National Convention Center and Zhongguancun Life Science Park. The event will feature a variety of activities, including an opening ceremony, plenary sessions, parallel sessions, exhibitions, and science and technology tours. It aims to build a high-end platform for international science park exchanges and cooperation, enhance the global influence of Beijing as an international sci-tech innovation center, and establish a more open model for cooperation on innovation.
