Recently, the 2024 China Theme Park Strategic Marketing Summit was held in Wuhan, during which the No.1 Blast Furnace - SoReal Science Fiction Paradise of Shougang Park was granted the "China Cultural Tourism Pioneer Award".

The No.1 Blast Furnace - SoReal Science Fiction Paradise is the world's first fully-immersive sci-fi complex featuring the elements of space exploration, integrating cultural and artistic exhibitions, science education, sci-tech experiences, communication, display, and leisure and recreational activities. Preserving the original furnace's structure and the external industrial architectural style to the possible maximum extent, the venue focuses on Chinese sci-fi stories, with most of it powered by technologies such as 5G network, virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence. The venue includes several sub-areas like a park of future technologies, an art exhibition space, and an immersive theater.

The No.1 Blast Furnace - SoReal Science Fiction Paradise serves as a prominent model for transforming and upgrading traditional cultural industries and the cultivation and expansion of the emerging cultural industries. It was featured in high-level cultural events like the 2023 China Science Fiction Convention and the 2023 Beijing Science Fiction Carnival, and has successfully concluded more than 300 reception activities. Overseas delegations from the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, Singapore, Thailand, Dubai, Finland, Norway, Austria and other places have visited the venue.

It is also noteworthy that the venue was selected as one of the first batch of the “5G Smart Tourism” application pilot programs by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, and received honors like the title of the "Best Pilot Venue for Metaverse Development and Innovation" at the 7th China Travel Consumption Annual Summit and the Pioneer Award Ceremony.
