The area where the project was launched was originally a production and processing area for iron smelting and sintering. The two old factories of Shougang Sintering Plant were demolished and replaced by an office building functioning as a workplace and a venue for commercial activities, with the industrial heritage of various kinds preserved fully. The new office building will focus on attracting enterprises of high-level, cutting-edge, and sophisticated industries such as new-generation information technology and sci-tech services, the smart city industry, the information content consumption industry, etc. Additionally, commercial business forms such as the Black Pearl restaurants, immersive theaters, and fine lifestyle anchor stores will also be introduced.
