The 2023 High-quality Development of Miyun District Cultural Tourism Industry Conference was held on April 23.

A total of 18 strategic investment projects for Miyun District were signed at the conference, with a total value exceeding CNY 10 billion. Among them, 11 projects involve investments of more than CNY 100 million. The projects cover cultural tourism businesses such as cultural tourism infrastructure, distinctive tourism towns, ecological resorts, cultural tourism real estate, cultural education, and boutique hotels and B&Bs.

In addition to tourism, cultural, pharmaceutical, and agricultural enterprises, China Communications Construction, Beijing Capital Agribusiness and Foods Group, Beijing Enterprises Group, and other enterprises are included in the list of investors.

The distinctive "tourism + night-time economy" strategy launched in Miyun District has previously proven popular among tourists, with projects such as the Great Wall night tour in Gubei Water Town, night skiing in Nanshan, and night viewings of the Rose Garden park in Caijiawa Village. Five core projects in Miyun, including campsite stargazing, research and education bases for science popularization, starlight boutique homestays, a City in the Sky-themed park, and the "Starry Sky" cultural and creative art park, also boost the development of a night-time economy.
