On November 6, the Award and Opening Ceremonies of the 2023 "Colorful World - World Culture Heritage" International Youth Painting Invitational Exhibition were held at the China National Film Museum.

It is learned that since its launch in May, this year's painting exhibition has been open for global submissions of painting works and public service videos from youngsters aged 4 to 18, amassing 43,000 works from 61 countries. Domestic submissions span 31 provincial-level administrative divisions, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR and Taiwan of China. International contributions originate from countries like Australia, Germany, Malaysia, Mauritius, the United States, and Spain.

Citizens explore the exhibition

The "Colorful World - World Culture Heritage" International Youth Painting Invitational Exhibition has been held for two consecutive sessions and is hosting its third session this year. Over the past three years, it has received about 120,000 youth works from more than 100 countries and has been showcased in more than ten countries including the United States, Spain, the United Kingdom, Australia, Greece, Fiji, Mauritius, Canada, Saudi Arabia.

The exhibition is divided into three sections: International, Domestic, and the Colorful Beijing Central Axis. It has opened to the public on November 6 and will be closed on November 20. Its online exhibition was launched simultaneously via the special website (colorfulworld.waae.com.cn).
