This year's Beijing Color Lantern Festival, the biggest in Beijing's history, will be lit-up at Beijing Garden Expo Park on September 14 and officially launched on September 15. It will last until October 31.

Besides the fascinating lanterns, the audience can taste the delicious food, learn about intangible cultural heritages, and enjoy traditional Chinese opera performances. More than 150 distinctive shops featuring time-honored brands, intangible cultural heritage items, creative cultural products, and food and beverage will greet visitors throughout the event. There will also be more than 20 other activities, such as singing and dancing performances, traditional opera shows, and those centered on the China-Chic culture.
Tickets are now available at the official WeChat account of Beijing Color Lantern Festival (京彩灯会) and on platforms such as Douyin, Alipay, Meituan, and Ctrip. Visitors can also buy tickets at the ticket office at Gate 3 of Beijing Garden Expo Park.
In addition to watching lanterns, visitors can also enjoy a sunset moment at Nanyuan Forest Wetland Park, have dinner at Nansen Sunset Night Market (南森落日夜市) in the pleasant evening breeze, and explore the "Giant Pumpkin Art Kingdom" (巨型南瓜艺术王国) at Beijing Flower World.
