NEST (National E-Sports Tournament) Makes Its Beijing Debut, Kicking off on August 8

The 2024 National E-Sports Tournament (NEST), a key highlight of the 2024 Western Beijing E-Sports Festival, took place in Shijingshan District, Beijing.

The online segment of the tournament, featuring a virtual cycling competition, started on August 8, and the offline finals are scheduled to take place from August 23 to 25 at Shougang Park in Shijingshan. The 2024 NEST Summer Finals will include competitions of virtual cycling, virtual rowing, virtual dance, and virtual racing, among others. Top competitors from across China will gather to vie for victory at Shougang Park with an industrial backdrop, where a visual truly one-of-a-kind spectacle of digital sports will be presented.

Known as the "National Games" of the e-sports industry, NEST has been a cornerstone of the e-sports calendar for over a decade. This year marks the tournament's debut in Beijing. The 2024 NEST stands at the forefront of digital innovation, advancing the intersection of culture, sports and technologies. The event has attracted numerous companies dedicated to digital sports, using the competition as a catalyst to explore the integration of traditional sports with cutting-edge technologies.
