BEIJING, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- The 2020 Beijing Fringe Festival will take place in late September in the Chinese capital, featuring about 30 Chinese and foreign works, according to organizers.

Co-sponsored by the National Theatre of China and the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, this year's event will be a combination of online and offline performances.

The festival will also see live music shows, the recitation of original and new scripts, and exchanges and discussions on plays.
