To strengthen cooperation with the United Kingdom (UK) in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), the Administrative Committee of the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) held a forum themed "Promoting Win-win Development – China-UK AI Industry Cooperation Dialogue" on May 19.

The forum saw the attendance of over 200 guests including AI-related experts, scholars, and business representatives from China and the UK. Together they explored the application progress and technological cooperation of AI in industries such as biomedicine, new energy, and intelligent manufacturing. The process for setting up 48 British groups' China representative offices in Beijing E-Town was officially launched.

Two cooperation agreements were signed at the forum, covering channel expansion, business cooperation and business matchmaking. Virax Biolabs and P4 China-UK Precision Medicine Innovation Center signed a cooperation agreement on channel expansion in China. The Ireland-based ESP Science and Technology Innovation and Investment Promotion Service Center and Beijing E-Town International Service Trade Co., Ltd. also signed a memorandum of cooperation.
