Since the beginning of 2024, 341 new projects have been inventoried as part of Fengtai District's investment promotion and attraction efforts for the development of the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening Up the Service Sector and the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone ("Two Zones"), including 55 new foreign-funded projects. The progress in completing the annual tasks is leading among the six urban districts in Beijing.

Over 1,200 companies have established their presence in Lize Financial Business District, with nearly 70 percent categorized as "finance + technology" enterprises.

Leveraging the resources of Beijing South Railway Station, Jing IN International Center attracts target customers primarily consisting of large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises and leading enterprises in the technology and financial sectors. It can accommodate 6,000 to 10,000 office workers, with comprehensive tax revenue in the area expected to exceed CNY 100 million.

Building a high-quality Beijing Digital Silk Road Economic Cooperation Pilot Zone, establishing a demonstration zone for the growth of the low-altitude economic industry in Beijing, and creating an "overseas-like" internationalized government service environment for enterprises and individuals worldwide... On the afternoon of October 23, a release event for Fengtai District's "2.0 Plan for Demonstration Zone", themed "Encountering Fengtai and Gathering Beijing Splendor", was held at Jing IN International Center to unveil several innovation achievements.

At the meeting, Fengtai District released the Development Plan for Advancing the Development of the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening Up the Service Sector in Fengtai District (or the 2.0 Plan of the Demonstration Zone for short) and key achievements such as the development and investment attraction of the "Two Zones". The plan proposed a total of 69 key tasks in six categories, namely the promotion of the expansion of opening up in key areas, enhancement of the demonstration and leading roles of key parks, optimization of institutional arrangements for trade and investment, improvement of the policy environment for public services, enhancement of the system and mechanisms for protecting rights and interests, and improvement of the open risk prevention and control system.

According to the plan, Fengtai District aims to achieve a significant enhancement in its international high-end factor agglomeration capacity within three to five years, and highlight the leading roles of new formats and models. The district strives to multiply the levels of service precision, the sense of gain for enterprises, and ecological vitality, to create a new model of open development in the capital that integrates global resources for win-win cooperation and unleashes the energy of new quality productive forces.
