The Exit & Entry Administration of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau continues to innovate in the exit and entry service initiatives for foreign nationals to facilitate the capital's high-quality development in economy and society.

It is learned that since the development of the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening up the Services Sector and the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone (the "Two Zones"), the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau has established a model of one-off comprehensive processing for work permits and residence permits of foreign nationals to help more foreigners benefit from China's immigration policies. In cooperation with the Beijing Overseas Talents Center, the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau has set up service windows to process the two permits at 13 Exit & Entry Administration Service Centers for foreign nationals in Beijing Municipality. This expands the scope of application acceptance from category A to categories B and C, achieving full coverage of foreign nationals employed in Beijing, and reduces the processing time to five working days for category A and seven working days for categories B and C.

All the while, the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau optimizes the layout of the network to create the best environment for immigration services and sets up 17 Exit & Entry Administration Service Centers for foreign nationals in 12 key areas, including the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, the Beijing Central Business District in Chaoyang District, the Zhongguancun area in Haidian District, Zhongguancun Life Science Park in Changping District, and the science and technology innovation park in Huairou. These centers are reasonably situated in the eastern, western, southern, northern, and central parts of the city, bringing convenience to the visa processing for foreign nationals, who can make their applications at the nearest center.

The Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau insists on offering services at top standards as it continues to innovate with new and greater contributions to the optimization of the capital's foreign-related business environment, the establishment of an international first-class ecology and the development of the "Two Zones".
