Recently, as the first global promotion event of the construction of the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening up the Services Sector and the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone (the "Two Zones") in the second half of this year, Beijing-Austria Green Economy (New Energy Vehicle) Industrial Cooperation Matchmaking Conference (the Conference) was held. Relevant political and business figures from Beijing and Austria, and heads from nearly 50 high-end service enterprises covering electric vehicles, technological innovation, AI, business services and other fields attended the Conference. Focusing on the key areas of the opening up of the "Two Zones", both sides participated in in-depth exchanges and discussions and shared opinions on the prospects for cooperation in the development of green energy and the intelligent electric vehicle industry.
In 2022, the "Two Zones" continues to carry out global cross-border promotion events, highlighting the competitive capacity of Beijing in technological innovation, opening-up of the services sector and the ability of the digital economy to link the world. In total, 13 international promotion events have been organized in the first half of the year, focusing on green finance, biomedicine, technological innovation, new energy and other key areas to carry out themed promotion events for more than ten cities in Japan, the Republic of Korea, the US and Europe. A total of seven districts, such as Chaoyang and Changping districts, ten major industrial parks, including Beijing Sino-German Industrial Park, Sino-Japanese Industrial Park, Lize Financial Business District, and Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone have been invited to the international promotion platform of the "Two Zones" for international cooperation.
Based on a joint meeting mechanism for the pilot free trade zones in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the "Two Zones" will work with pilot free trade zones in Tianjin and Hebei to conduct cooperation with the Incheon Free Economic Zone of the Republic of Korea. The "Two Zones" will cooperate with business associations in North America, South America, Europe and business associations in other countries and regions to set up the first nine global liaison stations for the development of the "Two Zones". These stations can cover 38 major cities that have advanced services and service trade from countries on five continents. It will establish a database of overseas enterprises for the development of the "Two Zones" and incorporate high-quality overseas enterprises and projects that participated in the promotion events into the service networks. The first 256 enterprises were entered into the database.
