On July 19, Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center held the 5th special event for Japan to promote Beijing's "Two Zones" policy. Representatives from China and Japan jointly signed two memoranda of cooperation on facilitating the commercialization of Japanese scientific and technological achievements and the settlement of Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises in Beijing.

The event also marked the successful closure of a series of "Two Zones" policy online promotional events, which included promotions in the UK, the US, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan, with a total of nine projects signed online, 30 intended projects collected, and intended investment of CNY 3273.5 million.
