From January to February this year, the fiscal and tax revenue of the Beijing Airport Economic Core Zone (the Zone) reached CNY 1,837 million, up by 8.2 percent year on year, making a good start in 2022.

The Zone has continued to attract new projects and tap existing ones to strengthen investment attraction this year. Pertaining to the aims of "stabilizing foreign investment" and "attracting intelligent manufacturing", a communication mechanism for foreign-funded enterprises in the Zone has been established, with meetings and visits regularly organized. At the same time, through transformation and upgrading, idle resources of resident enterprises have been utilized in multiple ways to promote the replacement of old growth drivers with new ones in the Zone. Since the beginning of this year, overall 28 registered enterprises have been introduced to register at key buildings, with a total registered capital of CNY 15.4 billion. Currently the Zone has seen more than 3,000 Chinese and foreign enterprises from over 20 countries and regions move in.

Taking the building of "Two Zones" as an opportunity, the Zone has constantly optimized the business environment. It has managed to ensure the "last mile" of service delivery for enterprises, accurately discovered the needs of enterprises and helped the resident enterprises address their needs and difficulties through visiting key enterprises, providing "service packages" for enterprises, and establishing a "1+1+N" working mechanism. The Zone has also made all-out efforts to ensure the signing and settlement of high-quality projects with more accessible service for enterprises.
