A press conference celebrating the first anniversary of the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening up the Services Sector and the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone (the "Two Zones") was recently held in Daxing District. According to the press conference, in addition to innovative policies, Daxing District will also focus on the openness of the industry and industrial parks as well as advanced manufacturing plus modern service.

In doing so, it will further open up the Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone, Beijing Demonstration Zone for China-Japan Innovation and Cooperation, Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone, China Biomedicine Park, and China Media and Innovation Park. Pilot opening-up programs for six major industries, i.e. medicine and health, new energy, air service, digital economy, offshore finance, international consumption, will be initiated, thereby formulating a highly-open business environment featuring innovative mechanisms, new policies and upgraded services. This will subsequently open up a new chapter for high quality development in the new era.

Thanks to the efforts of the whole district, major projects in the above-mentioned six industries are thriving here, and many leading enterprises and demonstration projects have successively settled in Daxing District.
