Deloitte Education Consulting (Beijing) Co., Ltd., the foreign-invested entity for the Deloitte (China) University program has recently registered in Huairou District and obtained a business license. Deloitte is the main investor of the company, and will also oversee its construction. With design plans already well underway, construction is expected to commence in early 2022. The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in 2023.

Deloitte (China) University project was formally signed on March 27 in Huairou, which marked the first Deloitte University program in China. Deloitte (China) University will function as a training platform for high-level talents, integrating training and learning, career development and resource sharing, and providing professional services for Deloitte's staff and clients.

The project is located in the BBMG Xingfa Education and Technology Industrial Park in Huaibei, Huairou District. Plans are for it to act as a demonstration area for applied research and industrial transformation through a combination of renovation, expansion and partial construction of old factories, so as to build an innovation system coordinating with Huairou Comprehensive National Science Center. After it is put into operation, the university will meet the needs of more than 14,000 students studying at the school every year.

This project will provide a strong impetus for Huairou Science City to develop an ecosystem for science and technology innovation and to promote high-end technological industries. It will also offer strong support in helping Huairou District open up its services sector and promote the building of the "Two Zones'', namely, the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening up the Services Sector and China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
