On July 13, the Beijing Investment Map digital service platform was officially released to the public. The platform can be used to look up Beijing's investment policies and corresponding spatial resources. The launch ceremony was held in the Lize Financial Business District in Fengtai District, Beijing.
Li Zhijie, Deputy Secretary General of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, attended the launch ceremony and delivered a speech. He pointed out that development of the Beijing Investment Map is a new measure meant to further optimize the city's business environment. The map can support precise matches between investors and enterprises, and is also capable of intelligent site selection. These features allow it to take Beijing's business environment to a new level.
Li also emphasized that the map is a new way to further improve government services. Releasing the map to the public will result in a plethora of positive improvements, i.e. gathering policy resources, spatial resources, and service resources concerning the investment field within the city, establishing an operation mechanism that spans across city, districts, and administrative regions, and a 24-hour online investment service which is planned for the future. The construction of the investment map signifies Beijing's willingness to innovate regarding smart government services.
Beijing Investment Map comes in three different versions (PC, WeChat, and paper) and is comprised of six major columns: "Beijing Welcomes You", "Explore the Two Zones", "Industrial Parks", "Investment Policies", "Intelligent Site Selection", and "Investment Channels". It aims to introduce advantageous resources and featured industrial parks to investors and enterprises, as well as help them understand Beijing's latest policies. The platform also aims to achieve precise matches between investors and enterprises as well as intelligent site selection. Finally, it will offer authoritative spatial information, targeted policies, intelligent site selection, and a friendly user experience.
At the launch ceremony, relevant officials from different districts such as Chaoyang, Fengtai, Tongzhou, and Daxing also promoted the advantageous resources, industrial policies and investment opportunities in their respective key fields. More than 110 Chinese and foreign representatives from domestic and foreign associations, multinational companies, and state-owned enterprises directly under the central government and industry leaders in Beijing attended the ceremony.
