Beijing Capital International Airport recently launched the Osaka-Beijing Capital-Osaka-Anchorage route. This route is one of the most important routes for China and the whole world, and is the first fifth freedom route created since the establishment of China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
The launch of this route will allow the airport to add 12 new international round-trip cargo flights per week, which will significantly strengthen the cargo link between the Asian and North American markets. It will also greatly enhance the intercontinental cargo flight capacity of the airport, and help the airport build itself into a world-class aviation hub.
The implementation of "expanding air freedoms including the fifth freedom" will allow for the advantages contained within Beijing Capital International Airport Economic Demonstration Zone policies to be used to their fullest extent. In addition, this move will bring additional foreign airlines and international passenger and cargo routes to the airport , and further improve the transit and distribution capacity of passengers and cargo. As a result, the status of the airport as an international aviation hub will be more stable and the airport will be brought closer to its goal of building itself into the core area of the capital international aviation center and a world-class aviation hub.
