On March 27, Daxing District officially launched a series of contract signing events for the construction of the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening up the Services Sector and the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone (the "two zones" for short). The signed projects are estimated to generate an output value of over CNY 10 billion over the next three years.

According to the reports, there are 10 contracted companies will start business in the district. Specifically, CIMC Enric Holdings Limited (dedicated to the R&D and production of on-board hydrogen supply system equipment), Enpower Energy Corp. (dedicated to the R&D of solid-state batteries), and Kitamoto (dedicated to the R&D and production of ultrasonic equipment for civilians). At the same time, the contracted company Beijing Jihe Investment Management Co., Ltd. will introduce Kingston International School to the district by utilizing its advantage in the area of education. Taiji Computer Co., Ltd. will establish a digital trade joint laboratory based on its resource advantages in digital ports and digital finance. Beijing Macro-Union Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., as a domestic leader in allergen antigen preparation, will expand the production scale of in vitro diagnostics and investment in nutrition and health.

In the future, these projects in the high-end, precision and sophisticated industries will support the airport economic zone in the attraction of international talents and the creation of an open digital economy and trade model. It will allow biomedical bases to venture into new territory and cultivate industrial clusters worth CNY 100 billion, and provide industrial chain supporting advantages to help Daxing District work towards integrated development of global hydrogen energy in production, education, and research. In the upcoming two to three years, there are four quantitative goals in the construction of "two zones", namely to accelerate agglomeration of high-end market entities, to accelerate implementation of major functional projects, to focus on cultivating new business forms, and to improve significantly key economic and trade indicators.

In the next stage, Daxing District will focus on preferential policies in the construction of the "two zones" to accelerate the efforts in spearheading the policy implementation, furthering the planning of spatial resources and consistently improving the environment for doing business. The district will spare no effort in helping enterprises in the "two zones" to grow bigger and stronger, and will join hands with all entrepreneurs to build a highland for development in the southern part of the capital.
