On March 12, Shunyi District held a press conference on the overall progress of the development of the "two zones". Tianzhu Free Trade Zone has seized the opportunity and relied on its unique advantages of policies and functions to include 39 key construction projects into the development of the "two zones".

In terms of medical treatment and health, notable progress has been made in the development of industrial platforms including the medical device industry 3C products platform and the China international technology innovation center for inspection and testing, with more than 70 residents projects so far. The industrial park is exploring to create a new industrial organization model featuring integration of "production, learning, research, application, and funding", as well as integrated development of services and products R&D for the medical and healthcare sector.

In terms of cultural trade, the zone has observed the agglomerated residence of cultural trade platforms, including the international cultural relics exchange platform, international film and television equipment trade service platform, and international artworks bonded trade platform. The culture industrial park is working to build a major channel for cultural foreign trade, a major platform for exchange of cultural relics and artworks, and a cross-border cultural innovation cluster.

In terms of cross-border e-commerce, the integration of bonded area policy and duty-free policies were put into trial operation in April 2020. By the end of 2020, cross-border e-commercial sales had reached CNY 3 billion. The park is establishing a mid- and high-end cross-border e-commerce industry system with Beijing characteristics in order to support the development of an international consumption hub.

In terms of industrial finance, financial leasing companies such as Everbright, Huaxia, ICBC, Minsheng, and Cinda were successively introduced into the area, and SPVs are set up to conduct financial leasing. To date, more than 60 SPVs have been registered for financial leasing business with regard to future aircraft, business jets, large-scale equipment, and vehicles, etc. It is noted that Huaxia Financial Leasing Co., LTD. has started to implement its large-scale equipment financial leasing project. The industrial park is putting forth efforts to build a unique financial leasing industry system.
