On February 28, 2021, the contracts pertaining to the development of "two zones" in Daxing District were officially signed. The activity was hosted by the CPC Daxing District Committee and the People's Government of Daxing District, and was jointly undertaken by Daxing District Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and Daxing District Investment Promotion Service Center.

At the beginning of the event, Gao Zhenhua, Director General of Daxing District Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, introduced and explained the latest industry policies of the district. Policies across various fields have been adopted to build Daxing District into a new highland in the south of the capital, including the development of the airport economic zone, the comprehensive bonded zone, and the free trade zone. In addition, the district will spare no effort in boosting the development of high-end, precision, and sophisticated industries through inclusive, dedicated and innovative supporting policies.

During the contract signing ceremony, District Mayor Wang Youguo, Deputy District Mayor Gao Niandong, Deputy District Mayor Zhu Guangyao, and other officials of the district government, as well as those in charge of industrial parks, inked contracts on behalf of the Daxing District Government with representatives from 34 enterprises, including Henry Fischer Group Co., Limited, China Tiegong Investment & Construction Group Co., Ltd, Ustar Biotechnologies (Hangzhou) Ltd, and Magvalley Technology Co., Ltd.

The contracted projects cover high-end frontier industries such as bio-medical health, artificial intelligence and big data, semiconductor integrated circuits, new-generation rare earth materials, hydrogen energy R&D and application, international fashion consumption, etc. These projects have not only driven relevant industrial chains to set down in Daxing District, but have also laid a solid foundation for the upstream and downstream mining of industrial chain resources, thus to attract more high-tech enterprises to Daxing District. The signing of these contracts will further enhance the superiority of Daxing District in leading industries such as airport economy, digital economy, bio-medicine and intelligent manufacturing. It will also continue to increase the industrial influence of the district as a new national gateway.
